A new queer opera by PJ Harris and Michael Betteridge
In the late 80s, during a time of intense hostility towards LGBTQ+ people, social worker Kath gets involved with 15-year-old Nathan, who is arrested in a police raid at a gay bar. As Nathan struggles with a system that fails him, Kath forms an unlikely partnership with Brian, a closeted police officer who is torn between his duty to the force and his own sexuality. Together, Kath and Brian form a different kind of family, risking everything to give Nathan the safety and support he’s been denied.
